Consult and Design

Combining efforts from you the client and DAS to create the light saber of your dreams.   It is during consultation when terms and payment are discussed based upon your unique project.

The Build

Once deposit is received, the building of your custom lightsaber can begin.  This is when raw materials are ordered, machining of parts as they come into rotation, any special finishes such as powder coat or etching and then the installation of the electronics.

Warranty and Terms of Service

Commission Build Policy

Project commissions are built in the order that they are accepted.  Minor inconveniences that push a project back can be frustrating, but occasionally there are delays.  Please keep this in mind when contacting Darth Alice Sabers about a project that you would like to have created if there is a time constraint such as having your project finished by a certain date in order to take delivery by the time of an event for example.

Please also be aware that Darth Alice Sabers will not place a build ahead of another client's project and additional payment will not be accepted in order to do so.

Payments

All commissioned work require a minimum deposit in order to cover the cost of materials that are to be used in your project in advance.  Deposits are non-refundable.  The remaining balance plus the cost of shipping will be due upon completion of your project.  Once final payment is received, it is then that your lightsaber will be shipped to you.

** Please Note:  Any balance on commissioned projects that go unpaid for more than 90 days will become the sole property of Darth Alice Sabers and may be posted for sale in order to recover lost wages at the discretion of Darth Alice Sabers, LLC.

Shipping

Shipping charges are the actual amount of shipping plus the actual cost of insurance and is the responsibility of the client both to and from Darth Alice Sabers. This includes warranty claims unless otherwise specified and agreeable to both the client and DAS.

All packages are shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS) with tracking and insurance.  Please keep in mind that DAS will not waive insurance on any shipment in order to lower shipping costs.

Limited Warranty

All DAS products are cover by a lifetime warranty on labor.  This warranty does not cover any damages due to accident, misuse, abuse, improper handling, negligence, improper operation, modifications, attempted repair by any other party other than Darth Alice Sabers or normal wear and tear.

In the case of parts failure which is beyond the control of DAS, the cost of replacement parts are the responsibility of the client.

Any tampering with the internal components of the saber will automatically void the warranty. Please contact Darth Alice Sabers before attempting to "fix" any problems yourself or going to another company for repair.
